Prepare for the future!

Hey all you awesome people! I hope everything is going well! I hope you all had the opportunity to watch General conference, it was sooo good! I know it is a very strange and different time right now. It may be difficult and may even get worse. Like they said in conference it is going to get worse before it gets better. So we must prepare for the future  like they said, by preparing food storage and making sure you have all the essentials that you may need. But more importantly we must prepare ourselves spiritually! In this crazy year of 2020 things are so uncertain and no one knows what's going to come next. But I truly believe that God's hand is in all of this. Now that we have church in our homes and not in meeting houses. It is a great opportunity to grow ourselves spiritually and not just rely on our friends at church for spiritual uplifting. Not to say having the ward family is a bad thing, we just have to have our own foundation built first. I love you all and hope your all getting through this well. Other than that I've had a pretty good week. The smoke has stayed for the most part out of SF, which is such a blessing! Also our friend Leanna got baptized! It was so cool! we had to do it in a swimming pool because Cali laws still won't allow us to go into meeting houses yet. But it was so special and the spirit was super strong! Her mom was coming and she's been in isolation this whole lockdown and she didn't want anybody there. So we only had one member from the ward presiding, her cousin, her mom, and us. It was super personal and so special for Leanna. I am so happy for her and know she's going to do great things for the Lord! It was such a wonderful and beautiful day. Our other friends that we are teaching are all doing so good and I truly love them all so much. We also went to the museum of modern art and Ghirardelli square for Pday. Which was sooo freaking cool I could literally spend days in that museum! Well I think that's it from me. Everybody stay safe and wear a mask. Love you all!

Love,

He made to Zimbabwe! (from mom's perspective)

You will not believe what Cade had to go through to get to Zimbabwe! He was originally supposed to leave San Francisco, where he was current...
