So much Joy!

Hey everybody hows it going?! Hope you're all doing well! My week was great! We just had transfers and I'm still in SF! which is awesome, I honestly love SF so much and I'm happy I still get the opportunity to serve here. I love the people of San Francisco! we did get a new comp though!! His name is Elder Driggs and he came over from hayward. He is so awesome I love him so much! Hes super nice and such a funny guy. hes been out for around 14 months. He was called to be mandarin speaking. Hes honestly just so awesome! This transfer is going to be, and already has been such an amazing transfer! We are teaching so many more people already, it's so awesome! I'm loving serving a mission, it has helped me grow my relationship and testimony of our Heavenly father and Jesus Christ so much. I am so glad that I chose to serve and come on a mission. I just love serving people! Forgetting about yourself and just immersing yourself in this work has brought me so much joy I dont even know how to describe it! I love you all and hope that you all have an amazing week! Here's some pics of my comps and my awesome district.

SF Week 10!

Hey everyone!! Hope everything is going well! This last week has been great! It's still clear from smoke out here so that's always a plus haha. Also the Covid cases in SF county have been steadily dropping. So now we can actually go into people's houses if we are invited! We haven't done that yet but I'm so excited things are finally opening back up a little. I'm actually really excited to finally get to talk with people in person instead of just staring at a phone screen. Also with the cases dropping that means the Oakland temple will hopefully open up soon! I don't know how many of you know but everything was shut down when I left. So I sadly never had the opportunity to go through the temple and receive my endowments. I'm am soooooo excited to hear that it should be opening soon! We also invited our friend Justin to be baptized this last week, and he said yes!! He's super awesome! He just absorbs everything we teach him and goes above and beyond our invitations for him. He's hoping to be able to get baptized on Halloween actually, so that should be awesome! Other than that this week has been great and super fun! We went and played soccer with our zone on P-day. we have 2 districts so we played district vs district. It was super fun and just really nice to get out and do something active and outside. Well I love you all and wish you the best for this upcoming week!

Prepare for the future!

Hey all you awesome people! I hope everything is going well! I hope you all had the opportunity to watch General conference, it was sooo good! I know it is a very strange and different time right now. It may be difficult and may even get worse. Like they said in conference it is going to get worse before it gets better. So we must prepare for the future  like they said, by preparing food storage and making sure you have all the essentials that you may need. But more importantly we must prepare ourselves spiritually! In this crazy year of 2020 things are so uncertain and no one knows what's going to come next. But I truly believe that God's hand is in all of this. Now that we have church in our homes and not in meeting houses. It is a great opportunity to grow ourselves spiritually and not just rely on our friends at church for spiritual uplifting. Not to say having the ward family is a bad thing, we just have to have our own foundation built first. I love you all and hope your all getting through this well. Other than that I've had a pretty good week. The smoke has stayed for the most part out of SF, which is such a blessing! Also our friend Leanna got baptized! It was so cool! we had to do it in a swimming pool because Cali laws still won't allow us to go into meeting houses yet. But it was so special and the spirit was super strong! Her mom was coming and she's been in isolation this whole lockdown and she didn't want anybody there. So we only had one member from the ward presiding, her cousin, her mom, and us. It was super personal and so special for Leanna. I am so happy for her and know she's going to do great things for the Lord! It was such a wonderful and beautiful day. Our other friends that we are teaching are all doing so good and I truly love them all so much. We also went to the museum of modern art and Ghirardelli square for Pday. Which was sooo freaking cool I could literally spend days in that museum! Well I think that's it from me. Everybody stay safe and wear a mask. Love you all!

He made to Zimbabwe! (from mom's perspective)

You will not believe what Cade had to go through to get to Zimbabwe! He was originally supposed to leave San Francisco, where he was current...
